This interactive tool allows Engineers to first select cable type according to their Frequency Band and L0ss / Ft. requirements. One can then select connector types, cable presferences etc. to zero in requirements.

EMC Technology provides an online tool for the optimum selection of its temperature variable attenuators (TVAs).
Engineers now have an easy way to enter their circuit losses (or gains) over temperature and by making TVA selections they can immediately see the resulting combined frequency response. Once a candidate TVA has been identified, samples and quotes can be requested.

Hittite Microwave Corporation, the world class supplier of complete MMIC based solutions for communication & military markets, has introduced a new line of SMT packaged PLLs with Integrated Voltage Controlled Oscillators (VCOs) which are ideal for microwave radio, military, industrial sensors and test and measurement applications from 7.3 GHz to 13.4 GHz.
The HMC764LP6CE, HMC765LP6CE, HMC783LP6CE and HMC807LP6CE are SiGe BiCMOS PLL with Integrated VCO RFICs which provide output frequency coverage of 7.3 to 8.2 GHz, 7.8 to 8.8 GHz, 11.5 to 12.5 GHz, and 12.4 to 13.4 GHz respectively.

JN5148 Wireless Microcontroller – ZigBee PRO Platform
The JN5148 launches Jennic’s latest generation of ultra low power, low cost wireless microcontrollers for wireless sensor networking applications based on the IEEE802.15.4 standard, including ZigBee PRO.
It offers an enhanced 32-bit RISC processor featuring improved coding efficiency and up to 32MIPs performance, a fully compliant 2.4GHz IEEE802.15.4 transceiver, 128kB of ROM and 128kB of RAM to support both the networking protocol stack and user application on-chip, and a rich mix of user peripherals.
The 32-bit RISC CPU achieves world class performance through its variable instruction width, multi-stage instruction pipeline and prioritised interrupt scheduler.
The highest levels of on-chip integration also means that the device offers many new and innovative peripheral enhancements, such as:
- 4-wire digital audio interface that will connect directly to mainstream audio CODECs
- Low power sleep counters designed for pulse counting in AMR applications

General Description
The HMC773LC3B is a general purpose double balanced mixer in a leadless RoHS compliant SMT package that can be used as an upconverter or downconverter between 6 and 26 GHz. This mixer requires no external components or matching circuitry. The HMC773LC3B provides excellent LO to RF and LO to IF suppression due to optimized balun structures. The mixer operates with LO drive levels above +13 dBm. The HMC773LC3B eliminates the need for wire bonding, allowing use of surface mount manufacturing techniques.

Switch Matrices 
Every automatic test system (ATE) uses one or more switch matrices to route signals between the test equipment and the UUT. A switch matrix allows multiple measurements to be made, 1) with a single connection, and 2) automatically. The switch matrix can also provide signal conditioning for the test system.
Since both the stimulus and response signals must pass through the switch matrix, the characteristics of the matrix signal paths directly affect the accuracy and integrity of all measurements. It is impossible to design a switch matrix that does not degrade the signal. However, the switch matrix can be optimized for a specific application, thereby minimizing signal degradation for the principal operating condition in that application.

RFX have released a new high stability OCXO in standard DIL footprint to enhance their existing OA265 DIP series AT cut OCXO range. The new OS265 DIP range utilises an SC cut blank allowing enhanced temperature and aging performance in a small package. Stabilities as low as 10 ppb over the temperature range of -20 to +70 degrees Celsius in a package height of only 8.5 mm. Frequencies range from 10 MHz to 100 MHz, with low phase noise and excellent aging. The oscillator is designed for 3.3v or 5V operation.
