Hittite has just announced its latest instrument, Model HMC-T2100. Priced at just $7998 this instrument offers exceptional value in a small form factor.

Applications
Hittite’s trend-setting price – performance ratio of the T2100 lends itself to applications where multiple Signal Sources or Local Oscillators are required. Tying up numerous traditional synthesizers in automated test sets that only require fast switching CW signals is an expensive proposition. Production lines requiring many test sets is another opportunity to save significant capital investment.
Two-Tone Third Order Intercept testing often required up to three signal sources. Three T2100’s satisfy this requirement for the price of one traditional microwave synthesizer. Users needing to test mixers require both an RF Source and an LO source – Another cost saving opportunity.
