[<a title="Senariotek" href="http://www.senariotek.com/" target="_blank">Senariotek Web Site</a>]</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Switch Matrices <a title="Senariotek" href="http://www.senariotek.com/" target="_blank"><img class="alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-194" title="inside-matrix" src="http://www.customwirelessblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/inside-matrix-150x150.jpg" alt="inside-matrix" width="150" height="150" /></a><br />
</strong></span></span></p>
<p class="copy"><span style="color: #000000;">Every automatic test system (ATE) uses one or more switch matrices to route signals between the test equipment and the UUT. A switch matrix allows multiple measurements to be made, 1) with a single connection, and 2) automatically. The switch matrix can also provide signal conditioning for the test system.</span></p>
<p class="copy"><span style="color: #000000;">Since both the stimulus and response signals must pass through the switch matrix, the characteristics of the matrix signal paths directly affect the accuracy and integrity of all measurements. It is impossible to design a switch matrix that does not degrade the signal. However, <strong>the switch matrix can be optimized for a specific application</strong>, thereby minimizing signal degradation for the principal operating condition in that application.</span></p>

<p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="color: #000000;">10 KHz step size</span>.</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="color: #000000;">Power Output up to +27 dBm</span></p>

<p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="color: #000000;">300 microseconds switching.</span></p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="color: #000000;">Manual, Ethernet, GPIB (SCPI) or USB Control.</span></p>

<h3><span style="color: #000000;">Applications</span></h3>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">Hittite&#8217;s trend-setting price &#8211; performance ratio of the T2100 lends itself to applications where multiple Signal Sources or Local Oscillators are required. Tying up numerous traditional synthesizers in automated test sets that only require fast switching CW signals is an expensive proposition. Production lines requiring many test sets is another opportunity to save significant capital investment.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">Two-Tone Third Order Intercept testing often required up to three signal sources. Three T2100&#8242;s satisfy this requirement for the price of one traditional microwave synthesizer. Users needing to test mixers require both an RF Source and an LO source &#8211; Another cost saving opportunity.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">If you would like a <a title="Custom Wireless Sales Contacts" href="http://www.cw-sales.com/contact.htm" target="_blank">data sheet</a> or a <em><strong>DEMO</strong></em> of the HMC-T2100, <a title="Custom Wireless Sales Contacts" href="http://www.cw-sales.com/contact.htm" target="_blank">please contact us here</a>.</span></p>
